How much do you stop and read a caption? I’m so visual, for me it’s all about the image. But if you do stop to read, here are my thoughts on this. I chose these lights over the dining table once the furniture was in place. Sometimes you have to not only see a space but feel it, walk in it. This dining area was designed to bring the outside in…a bridge. One of my kids said they look like seagulls (he wasn’t being kind)…the other said they look like ‘flowers’ and both reactions achieved my goal…the outside came in and it was welcome. In the warmer months these doors will open fully and it will be the perfect unity. I also love how they complement the other lighting in the space…huge shout out to .store and who’s vision I totally stole, if you are not following…you must. Creative genius x

Not gonna lie…these pendants met mixed reviews…but luckily I got final say and I love them! 😉🫶🏽

James (my big brother) Oil on Paper

I painted this as part of my A-Level art…I then recreated it on canvas on a much larger scale, but it was a lesser painting. I remember the day I painted James, I had received some bad news and felt awful…I went and tucked myself away in the corner of the art room and started to paint…it’s one of my favourite paintings still. Reminds me to keep going especially on the tough days ✨
