No. 21 and I’m back from the graveyard of deadlines and the edge of burnout! It’s been a little while but this fun little project of still chugging along in the background. I just always seem to drop my social media ball before all the others 😅

I hope everyone is safe in this scary summer heat wave. Thinking of all the people who have already been enduring the brunt of climate collapse well before it ever reached our shores.

On a different note are we all excited for the eclipse later? And the meteor shower? I know I am! As much as I’m holding some real fear for the future, both in terms of climate breakdown and technofascism, it’s so important to take these opportunities to be awed and in love with our incredible, irreplaceable world 🌍🌞☄️✨

No. 14 of this Scrap Folk series. I’m still struggling to get back into the rhythm of this project and life in general after a crazy busy event with the other major part of my life .brighton 🤸‍♀️ Between the organising, hosting, travelling, not sleeping, training, partying, and generally having a great time with the best people, it has taken me a while to get my energy levels back 😅

No. 12 of this Scrap Folk series. Apologies I had to pause posting for a bit there while my other life .brighton took over. The little capoeira angola group I belong to in brighton had a phenomenal guest teacher, then we all travelled down to where our group is based in the UK in cornwall. We had the best weekend with truly amazing people, a lot of driving, not much sleep, and the most fun! If you’re interested in more of that go take a look at the group page 👀✏️✨
