Half a weekend well spent with a lovely group learning to carve some butter knives and cooking spoons. Or, learning to read the wood and practice safe techniques with an added dose of flow and mindfulness amongst nature 💗 Good Stuff.
Thanks for hosting again at your lovely workshop at (always good to pick up more native plants during a teaching day!). I’ll be back at Geoff’s place but in the meantime have a look at the other courses on offer, I find myself amongst some great teachers every year!

My first handmade stool. I absolutely loved the whole process of making this from start to finish - especially as the ash tree it was made from grew meters away from where I currently sleep. Feels like a very good way to honour the beautiful material. Hopefully I do justice to it with the chairs that are being created now…it’s a joy to work with.
