A little pattern to make yourself at home. 🌿

We’re taking a closer look inside our two show homes at Sharnbrook Park in Bedfordshire - and there’s plenty to fall for.

Botanical wallpaper climbing the staircase. Leafy prints around a dining nook. Soft geometric patterns behind a generous green headboard. And a cloakroom that makes a small space feel rather special.

We love mixing patterns with different scales and textures, bringing them together through a shared palette. Rich blues, soft greens and warm neutrals give these homes their own character, with plenty of inviting spots to settle into.

Meet Stephanie! 👋

Stephanie joined our growing Business Development team this summer after ten years as a branch manager at Huws Gray Building Supplies -making a long-held wish to work in interior design a reality.

She loves meeting new people and building relationships. As a dedicated point of contact for our clients, she takes time to understand their needs and works closely with our design team to help each project run smoothly.

Since joining, she’s been enjoying getting to know everyone and discovering more about Clayton. A favourite part of the role is seeing a project take shape, from the first consultation to the finishing touches on installation day.

We do love a bold choice. 🤎

Sweeping painted curves, a scalloped headboard and patterns that deserve a closer look. This show home has plenty of personality - and each room brings something different.

An olive green backdrop lets the patterned ottoman shine, while the study embraces rich colour across its walls, shelving and desk. In the bedrooms, statement headboards meet inviting cushions and crisp white bedding.

The fun is in the mix. Finding colours that connect, playing with the scale of patterns and leaving a little breathing space for those bolder details.

A corner you’d claim. A pattern you love. A room you can already picture yourself in.

At homes’ Ladywell Coppice in Staffordshire, earthy greens and warm wood set the scene. Arched shelving, playful patterns and softly curved shapes bring the character.

There’s plenty to catch the eye, from the generous upholstered headboards to a small bear making himself comfortable on the nursery rocking chair. 🧸

A first look inside The Reform Club, Pall Mall ✨

With the first two phases now complete, we’re delighted to share some of the newly refurbished bedrooms and suites from this very special ongoing project.

Clayton & Company was appointed to refurbish all 46 bedrooms and suites, creating interiors that feel comfortable, characterful and quietly luxurious, while remaining sympathetic to the history and heritage of this iconic London private members’ club.

Bespoke headboards, rich fabrics, layered lighting and carefully considered details give each room its own individual character, while ensuring every scheme feels at home within its historic surroundings.

Working closely with Jason Lenehan, Head of Buildings at The Reform Club, and Michael Hughes of Michael Hughes Architecture, it’s wonderful to see the first phases come together - with more still to come.

Coffee at the island, dinner around the table, doors open to the garden… this is a space designed for all the moments in between. ✨

The dining chairs and kitchen stools share soft tones, textured upholstery and slender dark frames, connecting the two areas without making them feel identical. Add the patterned window fabrics and warm pendant lights, and the whole room feels considered and inviting.

From fluted timber and wall panelling to woven finishes, tactile fabrics and textured artwork, layering contrasting materials adds depth, warmth and character.
