My hats are made in a few parts and brought together so holders can come in handy with some of the patterns with legs, tails etc. When you have knitted one part of the work you can slip it on to a holder and it will keep your work secure until you are ready.

Our Diesel the Dragon has been reciting this magical poem for 🐉

Diesel's main head is knitted in stocking stitch starting with the tail, shaping through ear flaps and decreasing to shape the crown. His underbelly is textured to give a scaley effect. The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. The snout is stuffed with toy stuffing with nostrils and horns attached. Eyes and lids are added. His horn is placed on top of the head with scales to the side of his face and along his tail. Diesel is finished with two wonderful wings ready to fly high through the sky.
