A few people have asked what does a £10 ticket for PYO get you. Well the good news is there’s no limit! You can pick as much as you like. The prices for each variety are labelled so you’ll know the value of what you’re picking. If you’d just like to pick to the value of your ticket, it’s approximately 10 stems- like the bunch in this video.

We’ve had loads of questions about our DIY wedding flowers so I’m doing a series of posts to cover your questions.

First up is what goes into them and how many stems?

I’ve had a few questions about our pick your own so here’s my answer to “what to expect”

Hello!! I’m emerging from the madness of May. Here’s a little update of what’s been going on.

Harvesting has continued throughout. Our flowers have shifted to white pinks and purples. And they smell incredible. Scabious, philadelphus, linaria, polemoniums… just gorgeous!

With our expanding field, we’ve had to make choices to help with efficiencies so this weeks job is covering all the paths with membrane and we’re covering beds where we can.

Plant staking is urgent. As the crops get taller, they need support so they don’t flop under their weight and the wind and rain.

Seed harvesting has started for some crops. We’ve got to wait for the dry spell this weekend.

We’re also busy succession sowing (first time ever we’ve had enough space) and planting out our annual crops.

And I still need to upload dates for our Pick Your Own!

Pick your own dates will be incoming soon! Make sure you get our newsletter- sign up via our website. Link in bio.

I’m taking a break for half term. It’s always a busy time of year- there are always more farm jobs than can be done and it’s hard to turn down weddings but it’s always family time first so we’re going to enjoy our half term week and I don’t intend to check socials so will see you when I’m back! ###
