The other week we restored two vintage GPlan dining tables for two different clients.

Two mid century G Plan extension dining tables. With two very different features.
Use of a very beautiful and interesting timber Afrormosia. African Teak.
Which seemed to make a big appearance in GPlans designs. Especially that designed by Kai Kristansen.

These are client restoration jobs. And will be finished very soon 🦊

Mid century dining chair restoration. Before & after. Client job.
Including full break down, structural repairs. Joinery.
Removed aftermarket corner brackets.
Tasmanian Blackwood frames fully stripped & sanded. Teak veneer back rests restored & repaired.
New upholstery using pure wool from Sustainable living- Chelsea Mustard.
Multiple coats of hard wax oil applied.
Done ✅

Yesterday I spent the day setting up a new shop space at Waverley Antique Bazaar
This will act as our clearance/ overstock space. Plus it’s only 10mins from the workshop.
Theres not much in there yet, but if you go there this weekend, have a little look!
