We are currently looking for an experienced domestic breakdown and service engineers to work in private homes in the BS postal areas.
The role will require the engineer to be confident in diagnosing faults on all types of domestic gas heating boilers and hot water systems. The engineer will also need to have a good understanding in servicing procedures and be able to carry out gas safety checks.
Candidates should have:
• Strong Customer Service and communication skills.
• Motivation and be able to work unsupervised.
• The ability to problem solve.
• Experience using a multimeter.
• Experience in all areas of Gas Safety, System and Boiler Diagnostics including repair.
Applicants will need to hold a current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1.
Full UK Driving license also required.
Job Type: Permanent
Basic Salary: £38,000-£42,500 per year
Holiday Pay up to 34 days available, 20 days standard + 8 Bank Holidays, with the exception of Bank Holidays all time off must be taken between the months of April-Oct Inclusive

4 top tips to keep warm this winter
To make sure your home stays nice and toasty this winter,
follow these four steps to keep your system in good health:
1. If you haven’t used your heating yet, switch it on now and make sure everything’s working.
2. Bleed your radiators to remove any air and improve the efficiency of your heating system.
3. Check your boiler pressure (and repressurise if it’s not right.)
4. Insulate your external condensate pipe to prevent it from freezing.

Don't get caught out by freezing temperatures this winter!

During prolonged periods of sub-zero temperatures, there’s a risk your condensate pipe may freeze, causing your boiler to stop working ❄️
