We have some gorgeous new lights up on display now in the showroom. These are from a brand new supplier we are now working with and we are the first showroom outside of London to put this lighting on display. It’s well made and perfectly on trend. The brushed gold detailing and glass has a luxurious and opulent appeal.

Apologies but a rant is coming!

We are a small independent business and we work really hard to offer great service and value to our customers. Time and time again we are judged against larger companies, when really they are not doing a great job and the below linked report to the Which findings about Black Friday and the fact that over 80% of the pricing isn’t cheaper, only goes to prove this!!

As a small company we are pushed to the limits with overheads. Rent and rates, utilities, insurance and then our tax bill. Which I have no doubt will increase again after the budget tomorrow.

Why are these massive cooperate companies not being heavily fined!! They are breaking the law. Marketing sales and price reductions to effectively SCAM the general public. Why are they not held accountable for this. If the government needs more money to run our country fine these big companies who are breaking UK laws and abusing public trust. That would get my full support!! Or is this just me?

As a consumer please remember the names of the companies detailed in this report, I for one won’t buy from them ever again. Vote with your wallet this season and boycott the cooperations and shop local.

We are more honest, offer better service and care about our customers.

We now have all our festive lighting and decorations in stock and on display in the showroom. Please shop local this Christmas!

Grab your turkey and meat from a local butcher, your veg from one of the many amazing small independent fruit and veg shops. Perhaps some cheese and wine from a local cheesemonger. And def pay a visit to a small toy shop even if you spend £20 it all helps!
