Just a few of the jobs we’ve completed over the past few weeks, showcasing cloth binded runners, Saxony carpets and herringbone flooring, all fitted to a very high standard.

Here are some pictures of a job we completed last month, which features a landing done in LVT and the stairs and lounge in carpet.

The customer asked that we do some kind of hard floor on the landing as the carpet was being damaged by their cat, but they wanted a carpet in the lounge.

As we had a long piece of waste 60cm wide, we had the idea of getting the edges whipped and the stairs done as a carpet runner.

We also created a custom stair nosing out of an LVT plank so it matched the flooring on the landing and fitted the customers own stair rods.

We are now back in action so please contact us to get booked in this month!!

This is a custom stair runner and matching landing I completed in my own house, finished with charcoal whipping to contrast against the white stairs and ‘greige’ carpet.

The carpet I chose was a Berber loop-pile carpet, which is perfect for stairs as it is more hard wearing than traditional twist-pile carpet and requires less maintenance.

Here are some pictures of a herringbone job I completed this week alongside CS Floorcraft

As you can see by the pictures, we had quite a poor subfloor to work with, so we spent the first day priming and screeding the floor using Arditex CL. We then sanded the floor and did some small patch repairs using feather finish, before laying out the border around all the walls and obstacles in the property. We then laid the herringbone pattern, marking it so it was central to the entrance part of the hallway when you walk through the front door, and by shear luck the pattern even landed almost central in the lounge and the other part of the hallway! This job took us 4 days and all the materials were supplied by us, using flooring from the Colonia large parquet range.
