We are entering the last stages of our advent 2026 making process!
🧶🧶🧶😍😍😍
As always it’s been such a fun process! Picking out colours that work nicely together is so challenging but rewarding!
🌹🪻🌺
It’s not too late to pre-order your own! To get them in time for 1st December we will be shipping out November 13th! So sn**ch yours now if you want some beautiful floral recycled yarn for your advent this year!
🥰🥰😍😍😍🌸

Advent winding is well underway in the very swift approaching season!
🧶🧶🧶
Now we have some nice cooler weather it’s been nice to cozily sit and wind the evenings away to the rhythmic beat of the ball winder, hopefully everyone is getting ready to settle in for a hopefully cozy cuddly winter after the looong summer!
❄️🌨️❄️
We still have plenty of advent calendars available for pre-order so if you’re looking for a gorgeous gift for a loved one or yourself on the lead up to Christmas, you can’t go wrong with a recycled yarn advent!
I am really pleased with how the colours came together this year based all around British poisonous plants!

A rare occasion that the shop will be closed on a regular day! But Karl is taking a long needed holiday for a few days and Sunday it seems has the best flights! Who’d think? So knit group and the shop will not be running on Sunday 27th of September, we apologise for any inconvenience but we will be back open Thursday the 1st October as usual, this also means any online orders won’t be fulfilled until the 2nd!
In the meantime we also wanted to share our renewed autumn window display! Liz the dragon seems to be hoarding an ungourdly (get it? 😂) amount of pumpkins! Almost like she wants to dominate the local Fayre and ensure she wins best in show!

It’s that time of year again!
🧶🧶🧶
Advent 2026 pre-orders are now live!!!
In the heart of summer, with blooms all around, we have our new theme!
Poisonous plants from across the U.K 😍
🌹🌸🌺
Inspired by both a poisoners garden and the outstanding beauty of our natural flora, we will be clambering through the bushes to discover the hidden dangers of our beautiful flowers, plants, and berries!
The curious dichotomy between the beauty and the toxicity of these plants is so interesting!
🪻🪷🥀
I hope you enjoy exploring our gardens as we bring you wonderful marled 4ply yarn made from reclaimed yarn cones! Each day will come with a small write up of the plant, its side effects, and hopefully will bring some inspiration to create something beautiful (but not poisonous) of your own!
