With lots of engineering, planning, revising, many cuts and scrapes and a lot of head scratching, the shop parking awning is finally back up!!

A little late in the year, but better late than never! The eternal question of how many people does it take to put up an awning is answered, and it’s apparently 4!
We’ve had to redesign the support system for our awning because the old iteration when wet created so much weight it was pulling the supports out of the building, but we have worked the best way to restructure the weight distribution to prevent this!

And we are so happy to have our colourful awning back in place! And what many people don’t realise is the bay it covers is actually shop parking! So if you ever swing by, please feel free to park under it for some colourful joy on your visit!
And a huge thank you to our courageous engineers for working out a system to get the awning over the mesh!
