C D Jones Interior Design
As a member of The Society of British Designers, Joanne Jones's British and European influence towards interior design. CD Jones Design is not only interior design, on-site orientated, but
she also takes pride in her virtual design service - thus offering a global design aspect. Amalgamate her archaeological Illustration, for which part of the degree covers 3D Studio Max to produce panoramic views of projects. She uses her expertise in this field to amalgamate archaeological general illustration, to create very distinctive, individual and period projects. Using 3D Studio Max, along with images from her clients, Joanne uses sketches and mood boards, to enable her client to visualise their project. Due to her skill, using 3D Studio Max, over 50% of Joanne’s interior design projects have been in-store consultations - from the very foundation of a clients idea, to its successful completion - often without the need to physically visit her clients home. Because Jones’s archaeology expertise in the reconstruction of sites, artifacts, and buildings, it makes it possible for her to visualise her clients concept, even before pen meets paper. The first images on this web page were all achieved virtually - and, most of them without the aide of property plans. Working in the historical town of Bath, in Somerset(?), for almost three years has enabled Joanne to work on an eclectic range of structures, enriching her knowledge and experience of working on period properties - whether restoring old properties or adapting contemporary with traditional. Her work has also involved designing many commercial projects - including salons, holiday lets, retail stores and corporate offices. In her previous position, at Laura Ashley, in Bath, Joanne set up a very successful in-store interior design service - implementing a cutting edge virtual design option for many customers who often did not have time, in their busy schedules, to physically visit the store. Due to her success at Laura Ashely, Joanne was employed to set up the design service by Rabart decorators merchants, to set up their in-store design service. These experiences were integral in expanding Joanne's knowledge of running a design business.
