Neil recently gave the loo in his shepherd’s hut a new look with an OS Explorer 1:25,000 map wallpaper, centred on the village of Hanging Langford, near Salisbury in Wiltshire.

Neil chose our paste-the-wall Digimura wallpaper when doing the wall — and was really pleased with the result:

We created this bespoke Ordnance Survey Historic Six-Inch-to-the-Mile map wallpaper for Helen’s boot room, covering Haunton, Clifton Campville, Tamworth and the surrounding Staffordshire countryside.

Dating from 1888–1913, this detailed County Series mapping typically covers areas of approximately four miles across, depending on the wall dimensions. It captures Britain during a period of rapid change, with the expanding railway network and development of towns and rural communities clearly recorded.

Printed on our Digimura Premium Smooth wallpaper, the map’s soft, neutral tones sit beautifully alongside the natural wood and traditional features of the room.
