Before I switch off for the evening, I just wanted to say a little thank you.

The last few months have been quite a journey for Simply Scented Devon. From bringing wax melts back after a three-year break, to relaunching and rebuilding the website, changing the branding and quietly working away on lots of new ideas behind the scenes… there’s been rather a lot going on! 😂

But one of the loveliest parts has been seeing just how many of you have come back.

Customers who bought wax melts from me years ago have returned looking for their old favourites. Some of you have remembered the exact fragrances you used to buy, even after three years, which still amazes me. 🤍

And alongside those familiar names, there have been lots of new customers discovering Simply Scented for the very first time too.

Every order that comes through still gives me that little buzz. Every lovely message, review, recommendation, like, comment and share genuinely matters when you’re a small independent business.

I don’t think you ever quite take that support for granted — and I certainly don’t.

Tomorrow evening at 6pm, I’ll be releasing a collection that is probably the most personal one I’ve created so far, and somehow it feels like the perfect next chapter for Simply Scented Devon.

But tonight, I simply wanted to say…

Thank you for coming back.
Thank you for finding me for the first time.
And thank you for allowing my little business to be part of your homes again.

It means more than you probably realise.

✨ Something Very Special Is Coming… ✨

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on a collection that feels a little different from anything I’ve created before.

This one is personal.

I chose eight of my own favourite fragrances and gave each one a new identity inspired by the place I call home — the harbour, the coastline, countryside walks, quiet paths and those little moments in Devon that I never tire of.

Together, they have become…

💙 My Simply Scented Collection 💙

Eight fragrances.
Eight little pieces of Devon.
And a collection that feels completely Simply Scented.

You may already have spotted a few little clues appearing recently… but tomorrow I’ll finally be sharing the complete collection with you. 👀✨

✨ A Little Change… and a Rather Big Website Update! ✨

Some of you may have noticed things looking a little different at Simply Scented Devon recently… 🤍

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been gradually moving away from using familiar Perfume & Aftershave names and giving those fragrances their very own Simply Scented names instead.

I completely understand that this could make finding an old favourite a little tricky — “I know what I used to buy… but what on earth is it called now, Gail?!” 😂

So while I’ve been quietly working on the new website, I created something to solve exactly that…

🔎 The new Fragrance Finder!

Simply search for the fragrance name you already know and love, and the Finder will point you towards its new Simply Scented name. You can also browse by fragrance family if you’re simply looking for something fresh, floral, fruity, warm or cosy.

And I’m delighted to say that since quietly launching the new website, I’ve already had a couple of lovely messages telling me how useful the Fragrance Finder is. 🥰

That makes me particularly happy because the whole reason behind the website refresh was to make finding your favourite fragrances simpler, not harder.

The fragrances themselves haven’t changed — just the names. Your favourites are all still there, they’ve simply been given a little Simply Scented identity of their own. 🤍

So… the new website is officially live! 🎉

A Little Website Update…

Good morning everyone!

Just a little heads-up that I’m going to be spending the next few days working behind the scenes on the Simply Scented Devon website.

After adding lots of new products and collections over time, I’ve decided it’s time for a bit of a tidy-up! 😂 I’ll be merging some of the collections, simplifying the menus and generally making everything easier to find.

The website will remain completely open while I’m working on it, but things may move around a little over the next few days.

In particular, if you’re looking for Home Fragrance or Car Diffusers, you may need to have a little search while I’m moving everything into its new home. 🔍

Nothing is disappearing — I promise! 😂 It’s simply a case of reorganising everything so that, once I’ve finished, browsing and finding your favourite fragrances and products should be much easier.

So please bear with me if you happen to visit while I’m halfway through moving the furniture around! 🛋️😂

Hopefully it won’t take too long and we’ll have a lovely, fresh and much easier-to-navigate Simply Scented Devon website at the end of it. 🤍

Well… if we’re starting to embrace the Autumn vibes, I think it’s only right that Oliver Owl gets his moment! 🤎
