A superb nest of 4 tables. Made in China for the European market circa 1825. So unusual to find as usually you’ll see English ones. These are made of Huanghuali (a Chinese wood), and the tops are veneered in amboyna and inlaid with satinwood and ebony.

A beautiful late 18th century collectors cabinet. The cabinet maker was clearly letting us know how skilled he was with this piece. Absolutely stunning with the different woods used and is still in such incredible condition. Visit my YouTube channel for more details on this piece. Or visit my website where you will see this along with the video.
Thank you for watching!

Great day filming yesterday at Dartington Estate near Totnes in Devon. It turned out to be a very busy day with several recordings for me. Met some lovely people who, as ever, waited so patiently to be seen.
Didn't have time to look round, but looks a great place to visit with a fascinating history.
