My favourite new product for quite a while!

I grew Heucheras myself last year myself and they are great value - really long season of interest.....or at least it was until my chickens got out and ate them.!

Luckily Heuchera is a perennial so hopefully they will reappear in the Spring!

Warning! World's most boring Facebook post!

I have two different creepers covering the ugly fences next to where we park our car and keep our wheelie bins....

One is a Boston Ivy, the other the good old Virginia Creeper. Pictures taken yesterday.

Beauty is the the eye of the beholder, but for me the Boston Ivy is superior - large leaves that lie flat to the fence, richer colours and seems to hold its leaves longer.

Ironically I sell 3 times as many packets of Virginia Creeper seeds than I do Boston Ivy - probably because better known in the UK. Contrary to reputation, quite easy to keep in check - I use a strimmer.
