Grab them while you still can!!

In april 2026, the UK government passed a new legislation to phase out the sale of Vented and Condenser dryers, in favour of the new, more efficient Heat Pump dryers. The final deadline is 19 January 2027. After this date, manufacturers wont be able to supply retailers or consumers with Vented or Condenser dryers. Therefore, the manufacturers are now ceasing production on these appliances.

The rumour mill is working overtime on Arran. Obviously the ferries are working fine so the attentions must be directed elsewhere! 😜

Contrary to what you may have heard, Brendarran Electricals is NOT closing down!

I am taking a step back from the repair side of the business as many years of crawling around on my knees has finally taken its toll and my poor joints need time to recouperate.

I have decided to concentrate on the shop and the sales, deliveries and installation of new appliances. Yes I will still do the odd repair, but it will only be when I can fit them in. My workshop is still up and running and I will continue to carry out small appliance and vacuum cleaner repairs. I can also sell you spares and accessories for many makes and models of appliances.
