I got a few moments to myself to have a little play on a wreath with a Lake District favourite as the main focus, our beloved native Red Squirrel 🐿️

While not in your face christmassy, the iridescent pearls add that hint of shiny without being too obvious. I just love how it looks like one is gifting the other with a very much cherished nut as a Xmas gift.

Now that my Daughter is crawling,she made the decision for us to take our Christmas decorations down today. It always leaves the house looking empty but at least I can keep my precious tree safe 🤣

2021 brought me my baby girl but 2022 is where I get to focus on creating my business and sharing my work with you all. See you in the new year! 🎉

I love catching glimpses of trees sparkling through people's windows as I walk past. I've noticed a lot of colour themed trees recently, I think they're beautiful but there's no way I could part with my traditional decorations. Each decoration tells a story of where, when and who. Some are handmade by myself or my son but most have been bought either by myself, my husband or as gifts. Quite a few represent different people in my life and when I look at my tree I'm reminded of my loved ones and how full of love my life actually is.

On dark days, it's nice to look through that window and see the sparkles ✨
