🕷️ FOUND – CAN WE GET THIS BACK TO ITS LITTLE OWNER? 🕷️

A small Spider-Man rucksack has been handed into The Scullery after being found outside Bentley’s Care on Tuesday.

Inside was a blue/grey dinosaur skeleton raincoat and a pair of pyjamas. 🦖💙

We’re sure there’s a little one missing these, and we’d really love to get them back to their rightful owner — we all know how upsetting it can be when a favourite item goes missing and we’d like to help limit the tears. 🥹💔

If you think this could belong to your little one, please send us a message with a couple of details about its contents so we can make sure it gets back to the right person. ❤️

Please share to help us spread the word! 🕷️🦖

Hello Autumn!

We’ve given the shop a little autumn refresh and we’re loving all the colour! 🍁

The shelves have had a bit of a move around, we’ve added lots of new stock, and the shop is now full of warm oranges, greens, burgundies and plenty of autumn leaves.

There’s lots to have a browse through, whether you’re looking for something for your own kitchen or starting to think about those Christmas lists 👀🎁

And tomorrow marks 7 years of The Scullery! 🥹❤️

Seven years of kitchenware, gifts, unpacking boxes, window displays, late night ordering and, most importantly, so many lovely customers.

We honestly couldn’t have done it without everyone who has popped through our door, shopped with us, recommended us or simply stopped for a chat.

So if you’re passing, pop in and have a wee look at what’s new — we’d love to see you. 🍂🧡

Here’s to 7 years of our wee shop! 🥂

The weather might be dull, but we don’t have to be! 🌈

The weather’s taken a bit of a turn, so we thought the window needed a little pick-me-up!

We’ve had a shuffle around and filled it with lots of bright, colourful loveliness — pretty ceramics, colourful mugs, a few new things and some old favourites too.

Because if the weather isn’t going to bring us any colour, we’ll just have to make our own! 💙💛💗💚

Pop past and have a wee look in the window, or come in for a browse — there’s lots to see at the moment.

We are delighted to be a new stockist of SGW Lab handmade mugs! 💜

We’ve been looking forward to sharing these gorgeous handmade mugs with you, and they’ve finally arrived at The Scullery.

Each mug is handmade and individually glazed, which means no two are exactly the same. From beautiful soft tones to bolder colour combinations, there’s a little bit of everything — and they come in both gloss and matt finishes.

We have 12 mugs in store, and there’s only one of each design. So if one catches your eye, it really is the one!

Handmade, unique and made to be used and enjoyed every day. ☕️

Pop in and have a look — we’re delighted to have SGW Lab on our shelves. 💛

🫖 National Afternoon Tea Week🧁

Ok, it was last week… but do we really need an excuse for a pot of tea, something sweet and a little bit fancy? 😂

We’ve got everything you need to make your afternoon tea at home feel a bit more special — from pretty teacups and teapots to cake stands, serving pieces and all the little extras that make putting the kettle on feel like an occasion.

Now, the important question….jam or cream first, and do you butter your scones? 👀

If you didn’t manage to get solar eclipse glasses and don’t have a box to make a pinhole projector, why not use your colander instead!

Instead of straining vegetables and pasta, why not use it to achieve a similar effect.

Hold it to the sun, and each hole will become a projection of the eclipse on the paper your holding in your other hand. So instead of one projection, you’ll have hundreds!

Genius or not?! Let’s us know in the comments if you try this and how you get on. 🌝🌖🌚🌓🌝
