The original glass couldn’t be reused — so we recreated it with new double-glazed units to match it exactly.

Same character.

We get asked this a lot.

These are Failed units also known as misted, blown, knackered... A blown unit is when the glass unit seal has failed, letting moisture in.

It's not cost effective to repair these glass units and so generally it’s better to replace - not the window, just the failed glass unit.
