Let’s talk details and styling - when a space finally feels finished! ��The colour palette for this project was creams, beiges and browns - the brief was to tie in the client’s existing leather sofa and give it a modern feel that leaned into the new build architecture.�

The way we made the simple colour palette feel design-led was to incorporate lots of texture, play with scale and focus on a few hero pieces that anchor the space. �

The marble table is a real highlight for me - it ties the greens of the plants into the space beautifully whilst reflecting the organic shapes in the coffee table which subtly pulls everything together across the space. �

The plants were a client requirement right from the start which I loved! Plants give such a great opportunity to add different greens, textures and scales that add so much to look at and give a real feeling of comfort.�

My outlook on styling is that every piece should be considered and used as a tool to draw the best out of the space. They can add subtle accents - like in the figs on the coffee table, enhance the textures - like the velvet in the cushions and they give you a great opportunity to show off personality.��

Good styling takes a space from being done and filled to finished and ready to rest in.

Our mood boarding workshop last week was so good that we stayed an extra half hour!

We spent time getting to know everyone's spaces - funnily enough, all were bedrooms - before really defining what everyone personally wanted and needed from each one.

My favourite part of this process is that even when we come with the same room and sometimes even the same requirements, the look and feel is always so different.

I loved getting to know these guys so much more and sharing an evening with them doing some proper cutting and sticking whilst also giving them a pathway forwards to create a space in their home that they love and feel good in.

This evening was so much fun in the most calm and creative sense.
