Save yourself a fortune and have a go at making your own wreath.

Only collect what you need - you can always collect more, but you can't put it back.

You can make a base from ivy lengths, willow or Clematis cuttings.
Cover with moss from the lawn held by wrapping sting round.

Make sure you have any required permissions - all of my materials were from around my garden hedges.

Make sure you leave no trace. Take little from different locations to avoid holes. Leave anything with berries for the birds (use fake berries they last longer!).

Add bay and rosemary for fragrance.

Think about colour and shapes. Mix it up, it's not all about the holly and ivy! Chdck out other evergreen currently in 'bloom'.

Group things in odd numbers for a more natural look.
