Bleujen florist in Bude is situated among a hamlet of unique arty shops beside a picturesque canal. The word Bleujen comes from the Cornish word for flower, and relates to its local friendly service and advice. Erica, Owner of Bleujen leads our happy little team with a bubbly and relaxed style. Erica’s personality is reflected in her bouquets, some bright and loud others warm and calming. She stri

ves for her work to be different and stunning whatever the occasion. Her experience and enthusiasm for the job has shown throughout. Since Bleujen has been open Erica has developed further passion for competing and gained a silver guilt 2010, silver 2011 and a Bronze medal at RHS Chelsea flower show. She became a finalist in ‘British florist association Young florist of the year 2009’. Her passion for the business and competing side of floristry will undoubtedly lead her to do future competitions and her creativity is shown in her work at the shop. Since Erica has had the shop she has gained her ICSF Higher Diploma and her NDSF Master Diploma of Professional Floristry.

These are a few throwbacks from the past years, from the shop, to lockdown working from home, to the home studio… and even going back to work with a baby strapped to the front of me while a day old. Self-employed goals 😜🤪

The kids have spent plenty of time around the shop, helping with flowers, deliveries and the occasional bit of chaos 😅
