This Ercol renaissance chair was rather floral & dated so it got a fresh new look in this beautiful Warwick recycled fibre Tweed range with velvet piping & buttons to accentuate it's features.
To make best use of the fabric an heirloom set of dining chairs got a revamp too with a full rebuild of their foundations and innards, it was night & day difference in comfort and style for family dinner that night & they will have another lifetime to be enjoyed.

Some repair work & problem solving for a returning customer 🛥️🛟; pics 1 & 2 a burst seat seam that needed restitching & could luckily be done while the original vinyl was in place to save doing a full replacement. Pics 3 & 4 & a new cover the customer had purchased (from others, not in my skill set for now) which was very much not the right size when laid out against one another & never going to be able to stretch around, so a new segment was added to rotate and pivot the fixings into the correct location to protect it from the weather again. All ready for summer outings 🌈

I love tying into existing colours within customers homes, the soft 'maize' yellow of Warwick Splash subtly picked up existing curtain colours and then we added the shade 'burnt' as piping to this lazy morning coffee & newspaper reading chair which lives in the corner of the kitchen to add a little accent and pick up on the terracotta floor tiles ❤️

A few misc jobs; Dining seats don't have to be dull or faux leather which often seems the norm, there are lots of beautiful colours to fit with your home (I love finding matches or complementary colours to existing home decor) and stain resistant fabric options too! A renewed relaxed sofa loose cover in a beautiful linen blend. & finally my neighbour picked this stunning cozy wool check, pleated to pattern, for a door curtain to keep the warmth in & the dark out.

Sometimes the requests aren't your typical; the old peeling vinyl interior of this boat (no you don't want to see it) had seen better days so replicating the interesting shapes of the original to fit the interior cabin curve but in this new subtle but nautical blue was a head scratched but turned out beautifully. Also the original deck pad had got lost on its travels somewhere so a new one, tailored to fit, was made ready as a spot to soak up the summer sun when we're lucky enough to get some ☀️🌅🍹

This gorgeous library chair had piqued the owners interest at auction & they had to have it so it was even better to give it a new lease of life from a mismatched leather cloth & vinyl attire to this smooth modern caramel leather for a fitting new look.

And then sometimes you have a year where you just want to try and focus but the world has other plans, things happen, it all takes longer than you want to get a finish you're happy with so updating and posting is absolutely the last thing on your mind.
One of those completed; These ABC cinema seats came, left & returned to the area of their original home and deserved a gorgeous updated look including paint from the fabulous K Whitehouse again

Missing in action on socials for longer than desired so here is a bit of a photo dump of some of the goings on.
Lots of fresh plump cushion inserts done over the last few months ready for family Christmas visits 🤞
A pair of 'flat packable' sofas in beautiful Omega velvet
& a cozy nook in Linwood Malmo & pair of PK976 in Piazza (tying the 2 siblings together with Krayola piping & footstool, original factory tickets still in place )
& Lots of dining chairs that I completely forgot to take photos of 🤦🏼‍♀️
Thanks to all customers, suppliers & supporters, we made it through 👍 seasons greetings

Well it's been a little while since I've done an update (must do better) but it's been busy busy busy with enquiries and jobs, new work slots are firmly in the new year.
I'll do a proper catch up at some point but for now look at these G Plan dining chairs which hadn't been touched since new in their updated Splash Lagoon & Aqua clothes.

When the world is descending into mayhem around you, sit on your throne and appreciate what you have.
I will be very glad to have 2020/21 out of the way after all it has and continues to throw in my direction (drowned rats had nothing on me this morning).
One of my wonderful neighbours (Kate Whitehouse) did the stunning paint job seen here! These pieces weren't originally together & have undergone many changes from what they would have been originally but now they are a fab set fit for a king or queen to delicately perch.

These Suffolk recliners haven't travelled too far since new and have a home for life so definitely deserved a lovely new look in Warwick Fabrics UK Ltd Krayola 'Leaf'

This was completed a couple of months ago but I'm posting it now as a call out for anyone with campers/boats or other seasonal use craft, we will only be completing works for such items during the winter off season (as you understandably want to use it during good weather) and are already taking bookings for this winter so drop a message to get the ball rolling and a slot booked now.
