C L I E N T L O V E ✨

We recently had the pleasure of working with Lisa & Ian on their lounge renovation through our Designer for a Day service. They had a clear idea of the style they liked, but weren’t sure how to pull everything together - this is something we hear often and is a familiar pain point for our clients.

That one session gave them the direction they needed to move forward with confidence, avoid a few costly mistakes, and actually enjoy the process. Changes to your home should feel exciting and enjoyable after all!

A few sneak peeks fresh from our site visit this week. Our Surrey home project is coming together beautifully with a few of the last details and joinery installations underway. We carried out snagging along with some sign offs… always an exciting stage as we near final completion!

P L A Y R O O M G O A L S ✨

Playrooms don’t have to be loud to be full of life 🤍

For this beautiful family home, we took a softer, more considered approach - creating a space that feels playful, but still sits comfortably within the overall design of the house.

The brief was no small task…
A playroom for four children of varying ages, with space for play, crafting, soft play, storage and a relaxed TV area - all within one cohesive scheme.

We designed a double-height soft play zone, complete with a ball pit, climbing wall, slide and a tucked-away reading nook. Beneath, there’s space for dress-up, books, toys and a mini kitchen for imaginative play.

A bespoke train track weaves its way around the perimeter, travelling through cabinetry and soft play elements for those little moments of magic.

Painted cabinetry in nature-inspired tones, paired with warm oak, brings both softness and durability - with plenty of storage and display space for ever-changing favourites.

The media wall integrates TV, storage and air conditioning, ensuring the room works just as well for downtime as it does for play.

A curved sofa, storage ottoman and soft olive rug create a more relaxed corner - perfect for slower moments or to ‘Netflix and Chill’.

A space designed for toys, imagination… and a little calm in between.

Over the past twelve years we’ve learnt that the success of a renovation rarely comes down to one big design moment. It’s the early decisions. The coordination. The details resolved before site progresses too far.

It’s understanding how lighting interacts with architecture. It’s ensuring joinery works before walls are closed. It’s anticipating cost implications before they escalate.

We’ve navigated changing regulations, supply chain delays and evolving build standards. We’ve built trusted relationships with contractors and suppliers who understand how we work and respect the level of detail we bring.

For our clients, that experience means clarity.

C L I E N T L O V E ✨

Our Designer for a Day service has been one of the most rewarding additions to our studio this year.

It’s been incredible to see how much can be achieved with just a few hours of dedicated design support, and we’re so grateful for the lovely feedback that’s come in.

We recently spent the day with the very lovely Laura and Matthew, helping them untangle a few areas of their home where they’d been feeling a little “stuck”. It’s always a privilege to sit down together, roll up our sleeves and bring direction, ideas and simplicity back into the process.

While our schedule for 2025 is now fully booked, we’ve opened a number of Designer for a Day dates for the first quarter of 2026.

A F T E R T H E B E F O R E ✨

Swipe to see ‘during’ and ‘before’ this beautiful formal lounge scheme came to life at our Magnolia View project.

Our clients dreamed of a soft, light, all-cream palette, so our role was to bring that vision to life in a way that still felt practical and reassuring for everyday family living. We focused on tones, textures and finishes that captured the calm, sophisticated look they loved, with the durability and protection the space needed to stand up to real life.

Careful selection of practical fabrics and finishes played an essential role in making this space work hard to look so good! ✨

We specified a dark stained herringbone timber floor to add depth, ground the space and provide contrast to the lighter toned furnishings.

Automated lighting and window dressings ‘set the scene’ at the touch of a button making life that little bit easier and a lot more luxurious - whatever the time of day.

A S E C O N D L I F E ✨

We reimagined our client’s beautiful dresser to give it a new lease of life. What was once pine has been refinished in two soft shades of green, with a smooth matt lacquer and elegant antique brass hardware to complete the transformation.

It’s a lovely example of how upcycling furniture can transform a space without losing its story. We love finding creative ways to incorporate our clients’ existing pieces - especially when something sentimental doesn’t quite sit right in a reimagined scheme. It’s not always possible, but when it comes together, renewing existing furniture allows us to blend sustainability with style and meaning.

Sometimes the most beautiful designs begin with what’s already there. 🌿
