With our Rose Weekend just around the corner, excitement is certainly beginning to bloom. We’re delighted to invite you to join us and our friends from David Austin Roses for a weekend dedicated to celebrating the beauty, fragrance, and enduring charm of the rose.

For those who have been asking what to expect, we’ll be hosting a series of hourly talks from 11am onwards, both seated and walking through our Rose Collections:
11am – Our Favourite Roses
12pm – Caring for Roses & How They Are Created
2pm – Roses & Cottage Garden Planting
3pm – Rose Fragrance & Bloom Shapes

We very much hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a wonderfully fragrant, inspiring, and joy-filled celebration of roses - preferably accompanied by a little sunshine, too.

Join us as we warmly welcome back Kate Magic - chef, writer and a much-loved pioneer in holistic wellbeing - to our Food Hall on Sunday 17th May for a series of exclusive talks and tastings. Renowned for her influential work within the raw food movement, Kate will host three intimate sessions exploring themes such as gut health and radiant skin, alongside the chance to sample delicious creations from Raw Living Foods.

Founded by Kate in 2020, Raw Living Foods is rooted in a simple philosophy: to share the very best in raw, plant-based nourishment. Her signature touch runs through every product, from indulgent chocolate bars and cakes to soothing teas and superfood blends, each thoughtfully crafted to uplift, restore and delight.

With talks beginning from 2pm, we do hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a truly nourishing and inspiring afternoon.

We have just a few remaining places for our Rose Pruning Masterclasses with David Austin Roses this Friday, and we would be delighted if you could join us. Led by two of their knowledgeable Rose Consultants and returning by popular demand, it promises to be a quietly special day, so we’d like to give a gentle reminder not to let the opportunity pass by.

After an informative and inspiring talk, you’ll enjoy a slice of cake with tea or coffee before wandering out into our Rose Garden for a hands-on, guided pruning session. It’s a chance to ask questions, build confidence, and prepare your roses for a flourishing summer ahead.

You’ll also leave with a thoughtfully curated goodie bag, complete with rose-scented treats and nourishing feed, and your ticket includes a David Austin Rose of your choice to plant at home.
