This Abingdons ‘stain free’ and Tarkett vinyl flooring, both supplied and fitted by us, has totally transformed this two bedroom property in Burgess Hill! Fresh, clean and ready for our clients to enjoy 😊

This weeks Baltic pine! - After a bag catching fire mid way through the first cut, we sanded using our dust free machines and extractors, ensuring a totally dust free job! What an amazing transformation given the state of these boards from previous contractors, It’s amazing what’s hiding under those carpets and hardboard! 🔥🌲💨

Amazing custom transformation on this mix of Douglas fur and pitch pine! We lightly burnt the timber to the clients request then applied 3x coats of 2-part polyurethane finish to give the timber it’s original depth and richness. A very long weekend but well worth it for these results 🌲 💨

Well we never thought we’d see an osb herringbone parquet before! Here it is, surprisingly a pleasure to sand regardless of how much glue is in the timber! 25 years of wear it needed a good sand using our Hummel, flip, trio and festoon vacuums ensuring a dust free job from start to finish. This is very important especially when there’s so much glue in the dust. @ Hurstpierpoint

A perfect example of traditional craftsmanship, covered in carpet for 30 years!! At SFS we re-stuck any loose blocks as well as routing out a new entrance mat well.
This amazing teak herringbone was fully sanded and coated using our 3 coat water based system from , this ensures the floor will be looking great and manageable for years to come!

It’s been a busy week this week!

Jack has finished the job we last posted about and the difference is amazing!

The customer originally wanted a dark oak finish but once Jack had sanded the floors they decided they looked great in their natural form and went with a clear lacquer to finish.

There was a tiny patch of floor that had some damage from old woodworm, but jack managed to repair this and blend it in so you can hardly notice!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Another day another floor to sand, we are halfway through this job, a hallway, kitchen and lounge in Worthing.

Our customer contacted us as was tired of her worn out floor and asked us to come in to give it a freshen up. Here’s a couple of images of ‘before and during’ and we will share the after on completion of the job.

We have sanded the floor giving it a smooth base getting rid of the worn down top layer, and laid down some stain to give the customer a choice of which finish she would like at the end.
