🐑🌿 IT’S WOOL MONTH 2026! 🌿🐑

This month we’re celebrating wool – an amazing, natural and incredibly versatile fibre! ✨

But why do leading British bed manufacturers such as Harrison Spinks choose wool for their mattresses? 🛏️

🐑 Wool is naturally…

🌡️ Thermoregulating – helping to keep you cool when it’s warm and cosy when it’s cold
💧 Moisture-wicking – naturally absorbing and releasing moisture
🔥 Fire retardant – reducing the need for additional chemical treatments
🌿 Naturally antibacterial
☁️ Comfortable and breathable
💪 Resilient and supportive

At The Carriage, we specialise in beautifully made, naturally filled mattresses from trusted manufacturers such as Harrison Spinks. 🐑🌿

🍂 And their Autumn Offer is simply too good to miss!

🛏️ RIGHT NOW – get a KING SIZE for the price of a DOUBLE!

Then, from 20th October, the offer extends to …

👑 Get a SUPER KING for the price of a KING!

And the good news? We’re taking orders for the Super King offer now! 🙌

As Sleeptember wraps up for another year, we hope you’ve enjoyed the content we’ve shared and found the expert tips from The Sleep Charity and Issviva Menopause helpful. 💙🌙

Sleep disturbances affect up to 60% of women during menopause. As a retailer, we’re passionate about helping all our customers, both women and men, find the comfort and support they need for a better night’s sleep. 💤

We specialise in naturally filled mattresses containing breathable, temperature-regulating materials such as:

🐑 Wool
🌿 Cotton
✨ Silk

These natural fillings can help keep you cooler in summer and warmer in winter, particularly helpful for women experiencing hot flushes and night sweats during menopause.

Complete your sleep environment with our selection of natural bedding, including cotton and wool mattress toppers, protectors, duvets and pillows. 🛏️🍃

If you’re struggling with menopausal night sweats, bear in mind that some people find memory foam and other closed-cell foams retain more body heat. Our knowledgeable team can help you explore cooler, more breathable alternatives suited to your individual needs.

Visit one of our two showrooms for friendly advice on keeping cool in bed and choosing the best products for you. 🤍

This Sleeptember, we’re proud to continue supporting The Sleep Charity and Issviva by sharing expert tips to help you enjoy a better night’s sleep. 💙🌙

A calming evening routine can help signal to your body that it’s time to slow down, relax and prepare for sleep—something that can be especially valuable during perimenopause and menopause.

Consistency matters, so try introducing a few gentle habits:

⏰ Keep a regular bedtime
🌅 Wake up at around the same time each day
📵 Reduce screen time before bed
🧘‍♀️ Try some gentle stretching
📖 Read a book or practise a relaxation exercise
✨ Create a calm, comfortable bedroom environment

Small, consistent changes can make a meaningful difference to how relaxed and ready for sleep you feel.

Complete your calming evening routine by settling into the natural comfort of one of our mattresses and breathable bedding. 🛏️🍂

This Sleeptember, we’re proud to support The Sleep Charity and Issviva by sharing expert tips to help you enjoy a better night’s sleep—especially during perimenopause and menopause. 💙🌙

Hot flushes can leave you sweating one moment and shivering the next, making it difficult to regulate your temperature and sleep comfortably.

Creating a cooler sleep environment may help:

🌡️ Keep your bedroom between 16–18°C
🌿 Choose natural, breathable bedding
🛏️ Avoid heavy duvets
💧 Keep water beside your bed

If you’re choosing a new mattress, we specialise in naturally filled options made with breathable, temperature-regulating materials—including wool, cotton, h**p, flax and silk—to help keep you cool in summer and cosy in winter.

Our natural bedding beautifully complements our mattresses, helping you create a more comfortable and restful sleep environment. 🍂💤
