Sorry I haven’t posted a WIP Wednesday post for a while, the days just seem to fly by atm, then before I know it, Wednesday has been and gone 🤣🤣

I’m still knitting my cardi, but have finished back and both fronts. Now on the sleeves. I made a little Sophie scarf in between to break it up a bit 🤪

I’ve upholstered 6 dining chairs (finished last 2 today. And I’ve also started some outdoor furniture seat cushion covers whilst they’re in winter hibernation 😬

And the next instalment after a long day is plain cotton fabrics - more than a dozen new shades all 1.5 metres/60 inches wide…

And although not very photogenic, we also have cotton rich curtain linings, polycotton twill linings, blackout linings including fire retardant lining and interlining.

Introducing on this wet and wintery day ….
Baa Ram Ewe 100% wool. We have started with 2 ranges. PIP naturals and Colourwork 4ply, and Donegal Dk. Some great patterns to go with . I really love the snood, I might have to make it 🤩 🐑

We’ve had a very, very busy week…. So I’ve had little time to do much else. But I managed to make this little Sophie Scarf using Rico Design Luxury Merino Alpaca Dream Aran yarn and Make It Perchen held together to give it a little accent of pearly beads. We have both yarns in 2 shades. I needed a smalller project to do in between my cardigan I’m making.

A customer also brought her crochet in to sho us ….. Michael Jackson complete with microphone. We think this is brilliant 🤩

A day off for us today, but don’t worry, the shop is open 1030-1530

Phew! What a busy week it’s been… 10 hours on my feet today getting some more new stock out on display, including these 3 new shades of King Cole Yarn & Pattern Supplier Big Value DK in neon colours. Also 3 new shades of Firefly Aran (and existing shades restocked).

An Emma ball restock, all the tins and stitch markers sold out, so we’ve got more for you, including new designs and new products: Duck glasses cases and cloths which can also be used for storing your crochet hook or accessories in perfect for popping into your handbag or craft bag and some gift labels to pop onto your finished items. Notepads for keeping track of where you are with your project.

And finally introducing Baa Ram Ewe yarn. We have 3 shades in Donegal Twists DK and we also have some PIP 4 ply. Not yet on display but will be this week. If you’d like any, just ask. Patterns for this yarn also available 🧶🥰

We have been bowled over by the response to the launch of the Harry Potter CAL kits, also the new Harry Potter scarf yarn, and other new products we got in recently. We have literally been run off our feet this week. Along with our usual web orders, we have made several trips to the post office this week loaded with parcels . (2 separate trips today).
