Wool Boat Customers Creation

Another of our fantastic customers creations.
Anne bought this James C Bretts Cotton Waves, shade WV03 “Pretty Purples” at the Heskin Steam Rally in June. The blanket is a knitted one with a white crochet edge. The blanket was finished a while ago.
We still have supplies of this yarn in stock, which is available from The Wool Boat shop on the web or you can pick it up from the boat when we are open.

Opening plans for this week for the floating Lancashire Wool shop.
The Wool Boats plans for 12th to 18th October 2026
We plan to back outside the Slipway for Thursday the 15th afternoon for the Knit and Natter in the pub when everyone is all welcome to join the Slipway Stitchers in the pub, welcoming any stitchers, in which ever craft, to join them from 1 until about 4. For further info call Carole on 07919 598911.
The Wool Boat should be moored outside with Capt Col in charge open outside The Slipway on Crabtree Lane, (L40 0RN) open from 1-4.
Then if the weather is fit, we plan to be moored and open near Canal View Drive off Orrell Lane if we can’t get a mooring near Burscough Wharf where we will be open on Sunday the 18th of October open from 1 to 4.
Halloween is coming, we have some pumpkin shades of yarn aboard 😊
We have ordered some more shades of the hand dyed Symfonie DK, which are now in our web shop and of course available from the Boat when we are open.
We are sorry to have to say this but from the 2nd of November we are going to have to raise some of yarn prices.
Any shares would be appreciated, thank you.
Carole and Capt Col
