Been having a play in the studio with mixed media.
Its a process I really need to do as part of my own mental health journey. Something I was never allowed to do was to play and express myself with my art because it was seen as wasteful or not good enough. Now I realise just how that has kept me back from finding what I really want... not just what Im good at. I want to be more expressive with my art... so for now Im playing.... at the moment I am loving watercolour and coloured pencils mix.

🌿 New Blog Drop

Finding Solace in Nature is live on the blog today.

If you’ve ever turned to the outdoors for peace, grounding, or a breath of clarity… this one’s for you.

What's on the Easel - A peek into my studio and my heart.

In this reel, I'm reading aloud one of my recent blog posts. It's all about giving myself permission to play, to start over, and to create without pressure. If you've ever felt stuck, unsure, or afraid to make a mark - this one's for you.

You can read more on my blog at www.kreativekateart.com

And if you'd like future posts sent straight to your inbox, you can subscribe on my homepage. I aim to drop a new post on the 1st and 15th of each month - honest reflections, gentle encouragement, and a little creative mess along the way.

Thank you for listening, for being here and for sharing this space with me 🙂
