customer feedback...
The Crafty Foxes came to our house for my daughter's sixth birthday, making bath bombs with eight friends and her big brother. It was the nicest birthday party we have had. Michelle is brilliant with the children and the bath bombs that the children made looked good enough to have been bought in a little gift shop! I can not express how fantastic Michelle is, providing an excellent, efficient service and producing high quality products that the children can be proud of. My son has also been to friend's parties where the Crafty Foxes have run the party and he has enjoyed each one. I would highly recommend The Crafty Foxes for birthday parties for all ages! Thank you, Michelle... Emily loved her party and we loved having you here!

Geno Washington is an American singer best known for his powerful soul vocals and energetic live performances with his band, the Ram Jam Band. Rising to prominence in the 1960s, he became a key figure in the British soul and rhythm and blues scene, helping to bring American soul music to new audiences across the UK. Washington launched his music career while stationed in Suolk as a member of the United States Air Force in the early 1960s. During his time in the county, he evolved from a military physical training instructor into a pioneering British soul artist. His connection to Suffolk forms part of the heritage project Black USAF: Cultural Connections in Cold War East Anglia, which explores how Black American servicemen influenced the local
music scene — and how the region shaped their musical journeys in return. Washington has described Suolk as one of his “first loves,” recalling the welcoming atmosphere he experienced there compared with the United States at the time.

Mary Tudor was an English princess and later Queen of France, best known for her
beauty, independence and romantic story. The younger sister of King Henry VIII, she was
widely described at the time as one of the most beautiful princesses in Europe. Although
she briefly became Queen of France through an arranged royal marriage, Mary is
remembered for risking everything to later marry the man she truly loved, Charles
Brandon, Duke of Suolk.
Mary Tudor has a strong connection to Suolk, as she spent much of her later life in the
county. She died at Westhorpe Hall in 1533 and is buried nearby at St Mary’s Church in
Bury St Edmunds, where her tomb can still be seen today. Mary was greatly loved by the
people of Suolk, and after her funeral alms of meat, drink and money were distributed to
the poor in her memory, reflecting the aection and respect she inspired during her life.

Ed Sheeran is one of the most successful singer-songwriters of the 21st century,
known for his acoustic guitar style, heartfelt lyrics and global hits such as Shape
of You, Thinking Out Loud and Perfect. Although he is now a worldwide
superstar who fills arenas and stadiums, his roots remain firmly tied to Suolk.
Raised in the market town of Framlingham, Sheeran’s early musical career began
in much smaller and more intimate settings. As a teenager he performed at local
venues and even played gigs in people’s back gardens in Ipswich. Those modest
beginnings in Suolk helped shape the artist who would go on to become one of
the biggest names in modern music

St Edmund was the King of East Anglia in the 9th century and later became one of
England’s most revered saints. Known for his bravery and strong Christian faith, he
was killed by Danish invaders on 20 November 869 after refusing to renounce his
beliefs. His death led to him being honoured as a martyr-king, and stories about his
life quickly spread across medieval England.
Bury St Edmunds takes its name from the king himself. After his death, Edmund’s
body was brought to the town, where a great shrine was built in his honour. The
shrine at the Abbey of Bury St Edmunds became one of the most important
pilgrimage destinations in medieval England, attracting visitors from across the
country. Legends surrounding St Edmund include the story that, after he was killed,
a wolf guarded his severed head until it was found and reunited with his body.

Twiggy became the world’s first major supermodel at just 16 years old. Her
signature look - big painted-on lower lashes, a blonde pixie cut and mod
minidresses - made her a defining face of 1960s fashion, and she was voted the
“Face of 1966” by the Daily Express.
Twiggy later bought a house in Southwold with her husband, actor Leigh Lawson.
In 2005, her modelling career was famously relaunched after a chance encounter in
Southwold. Steven Sharp, the marketing director for Marks & Spencer, spotted her
having lunch at The Crown, which led to her becoming the face of M&S
