🔥⚠️ SERIOUS FIRE WARNING – THIS COULD HAPPEN IN ANY HOME ⚠️🔥

We had a rather alarming call-out today.

A customer’s bathroom blind had actually been burnt by sunlight reflecting from the curved back of a shaving mirror.

The mirror had focused the sun’s rays onto one small area of the blind — effectively acting like a magnifying glass — and generated enough heat to scorch and burn the fabric.

Thankfully, the blind was made using a fire-resistant fabric, which helped limit the damage.

But looking at what happened, it’s frightening to think what the outcome could have been if the concentrated sunlight had been hitting a more combustible material — particularly if nobody had been at home.

🔥⚠️ PLEASE CHECK YOUR HOME TODAY.⚠️🔥

If you have a shaving or magnifying mirror near a window, make sure direct sunlight cannot reflect from it onto:

🔥 Blinds or curtains
🔥 Furniture
🔥 Bedding or towels
🔥 Paper or other combustible materials

The photographs we’ve included are from the actual blind we're replacing and show just how much damage concentrated sunlight can cause.

Something as innocent as a bathroom mirror in the wrong position can create a genuine fire risk.

Please share this warning with friends and family — it might just prevent a fire.

When one blind turned into three! 👏
We originally f**ted a single high-level, solar-powered motorised roller blind to help reduce heat and glare. The results spoke for themselves.
The customer was so impressed with how well the fabric performed that they asked us to return and install the two lower blinds to match.
It’s always rewarding when a product performs exactly as promised and gives our customers the confidence to complete the rest of the project.
If you’re struggling with excessive heat, glare or privacy, we’d be happy to help you find the right solution for your home.

Warning!! We may be overly excited about perfectly f**ted blinds.

But when you’ve spent years helping customers transform their homes, you learn that the smallest details often make the biggest difference.

Precision isn’t a bonus. It’s the standard.

We’re the kind of people who straighten picture frames in other people’s houses.

That’s probably why we spend so much time making sure every blind is perfectly f**ted, perfectly aligned, and operating exactly as it should.

Details matter.

Some people walk past a blind that’s 2mm out of level.

We don’t.

It’s the little things that make a room feel finished, and we’re proud to be a little obsessive about getting them right.
