It’s a tad wet today but we are open, so is The Woolclip & The Watermill Cafe. A beautiful, peaceful place to unwind & do a spot of shopping!

There are currently signs suggesting a road closure as you head in to Calbeck from the Wigton road, at the fell crossroad, but it is possible to get through into the village today and so avoid the diversion. This may be due to no roadworks taking place over the weekend, we will find out on Monday!!
So do head to the shop as usual today and say hello to Jan who is waiting patiently for you all. 😄

I’m Jo from Jo’s Little People & I’m manning the shop today! After a massive downpour at home I arrived at the priests Mill to this beautiful scene in the car park. We have a bit moan about the rain but if we didn’t have it we wouldn’t have such beautiful waterfalls, the most amazing shades of green & the fresh smell of petrichor!
The Wool Clip are open too today. Caldbeck is perfect for a spot of shopping & walking!
I’ll be closing at 3pm today to go to my other job.

Cat is in the shop today she works in pen and ink. Her work is unique and incredibly detailed. We have an adventure and history trail for anyone interested in exploring the village, perfect for a wander.
