I have rescued old lampshades to get the metal wrings, and childrens old games to get the plastic rings, I have even bought a few heart shaped bases, but no pictures of those here.

So just to show you what I am making, I will be posting just a few small samples as I am away dog sitting and only have the images that are on my smaller laptop.

Bit first to explain my ethos, where I am coming from. We live in a world where far too much is thrown away so I like to rescue things that the original user has no more use for and repurpose them. I have a been the lucky recipient of many craft materials, such as card and paper which would otherwise have been binned and I have salvaged and cleaned yarn from many an old jumper to make pot holders, dream catchers and other small craft items.

My aim is to create and recreate. I hope you enjoy.

Well I finally did it. I got myself in gear, created my store, my page, my google presence and the free website that goes with it. No longer any excuse not to sell my handmade cards and handicrafts. Wish me luck.
