Thinking about a new bathroom or kitchen but not quite sure where to start? There isn't a right way to go about it, so we've tried to make it work however suits you.

Others want to see things in person. Open the drawers, run a hand over the worktops, stand in front of a basin and picture it at home. If that sounds more like you, come and see us at the showroom in Dry Drayton. There's plenty of free parking and we're open Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4:30pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.

And if it's a bathroom you're after, it's worth getting in touch sooner rather than later. Book with us before 31st December and you'll keep 2026 prices, with fitting from February onwards, so you can get everything sorted now and have it done in the new year.

Whichever you choose, you'll be dealing with a small, local, independent team who'll take the time to get it right for you.

Richard and Fleur came to us with a tired shower room and a rough idea of what they wanted. We took that and drew it up properly before anyone picked up a tool, and you can see where we started in the first photo.

We used stone-effect porcelain from floor to ceiling and slatted timber in the niches with a soft strip of light behind. There's also a rainfall shower, a wall-hung oak look vanity, and a mirror cabinet that lights up.

The part of Richard's review that meant the most to us was about the install, though. Our fitters have worked together for years, and he noticed. He said they always knew who was coming and when, which is something we make sure of on every project.

Thank you both, it was a lovely one to do.

Most of our suppliers put their prices up in the new year, and 2027 won't be any different. So if a new bathroom is on the list for next year, it's worth having a chat with us before Christmas.

Picked up the October/November issue of 'Your Local Mag' yet? Have a look at page 14. There's a nice piece in there on the smaller decisions in a kitchen or bathroom, the sink, the taps, the lighting, and why they end up mattering a lot more than people expect.

Most people come in thinking about door colours and worktops, which is fair enough, that's the exciting bit. But it's usually the tap you use twenty times a day, or whether there's decent light where you actually need it, that decides whether you still love the room in five years.

A couple of points from the article to highlight. Think about how you use your sink before you pick one (if you're forever scrubbing roasting tins, a big single bowl might suit you better than a one-and-a-half). And plan the lighting at the start, rather than once everything's fitted and it's too late to move a cable.

We'd add one more of our own. Come and turn a few taps on before you choose. It sounds daft, but you'd be surprised how different they feel in the hand.

Texture makes all the difference.

In this bathroom we recently completed, we paired two complementary tile finishes, a smooth stone effect and a textured feature tile, to add depth and interest without introducing another colour into the space.
