Over the past year, as a studio, we've moved further into home staging and show homes as a service. It wasn't necessarily intentional - a previous client referred us to someone that wanted their home staged for sale. I ended up finding a love for it that I wasn't expecting and with the aim to freshen up the market.

A few wins so far:
- A Cambridge apartment sold off-market within 3 days and in excess of asking price
- A show home aiding sales 22% above local market value
- Hertfordshire home with award-winning interior design and installation for 60% of the budget of the show home on the development

HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT
✨ A focus on sustainability and quality: we source vintage pieces and natural materials alongside handcrafted pieces from the UK and Morocco.

✨ Keeping designs bespoke to each client, listening to potential buyers through market research and meaningful conversations to develop a detailed brief. We incorporate local businesses too for those unique touches: from coffee beans from the coffee roastery nearby to candles made by an independent crafts shop.

✨ As a small studio, we can offer a competitive service meaning our clients aren't covering lots of overheads.

I came back from holiday a few weeks ago feeling pretty low, I hadn't taken more than 4 days off since I started 4 years ago and I think the time off made me realise how tired I was! Tired of wearing all the hats of running your own business, the uncertainty and the overwhelm.

BUT....I've been working with some lovely clients recently and its brightened my mood and creative energy. Here's the initial design pack for one of my current projects which has been a real fun and interesting one to work through.

I always share this initial design presentation with clients to review and discuss to ensure we're always on the same path, together in the journey to achieve their ideal home. Here's a little peek at the design pack show the work that goes into this stage ✨

Next stage will be nailing this all down in a design development and specification pack - finalising layouts inc lighting plans, colour schemes, joinery drawings and sourcing all the furniture, materials, accessories.

I find myself talking about banquette seating in the kitchen often - it's probably the furniture item I rave about the most.

Yes, a traditional dining table is also good but there's just something incredibly cozy and inviting about it. The perfect spot for family meals, casual conversations, and even a bit of work or reading. It brings a bit of warmth and texture to the kitchen/dining space which can sometimes feel clinical.
