I am still quiet behind the scenes. I am finding hard to find creativity at the moment. I am very grateful to Maria Absolutelyshabbylass who is selling my glass x I hope to be in very soon to see the brand new Hibiscus lounge x if you haven’t had chance to pop by it is a fabulous shop and you can stop and have a relaxing tea and cake and find some unique pieces x 🧁 ☕️ ❤️

Yesterday I was treated to a day in London for my Birthday and Mother’s Day x Both are in March but caring for my Dad life was put on hold xx I was so very very lucky yesterday that one of my favourite authors Katherine Center had a visit to London in July and she had signed some of her fantastic novels. Never in a million years did I think I would find one x We had a very eventful train journey into London as trains were cancelled everywhere x it took us over 2 hours to get into London and we got off at a completely different station which was about a 10 minute walk from Spitalfields x We passed a goat on a stand I am yet to find out about this x There is an independent bookshop called maincharacterbooks and the staff were so friendly x We looked around and I asked if they had any books by Katherine Center and they told me how she had visited the shop and she was so lovely. Then to my absolute joy there was not one but 2 signed books ### I cannot tell you my excitement and my children are buying them for me for my Mother’s Day present xx I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect present x I hope one day to meet the author in person but these will treasured for a lifetime xx If you haven’t discovered Katherine Center please read her fabulous books x

This is a a very emotional hard post for me to write. I am taking a break from my small business x it is not good bye just a break x I am not sure when I will be back x I have been in Dorset caring for my father who had terminal bowel cancer . My father was diagnosed the week we lost my mum 3 years ago so life has been very challenging. My father passed away at the beginning of June this year x We need some time to be with family xx

Happy May . Life is still very busy I am slowly starting to create x I have been inspired by flowers ,fish , lemons and blues . Blue is my favourite colour x I would love to know your favourite colour x
