Hi everyone,
I wanted to reach out and let you all know that I’ve had to take an unexpected few days away from the shop. I am so sorry for the short notice and for not posting an update sooner—I thought I would be back on my feet and at work by now, but I need just a little more time to recover.
The good news is that the shop is still OPEN! 💖 I am very lucky to have the most amazing, kind family and friends who have stepped in to keep the doors open for me while I'm away.
To anyone with outstanding orders: Please accept my sincerest apologies for the delay. I will be getting them ready for you just as soon as I am back on my feet.
Thank you all so much for your understanding and a massive thank you to my wonderful support team at home.

📣 An Exciting New Chapter for Made in Kintyre! 📣
As many of you know, I absolutely love running the shop, supporting our incredible local crafters and artists, and helping you all get creative with our yarn and haberdashery. 🧶✨
To make sure I can bring you the absolute best of what I love to create, I’ve decided it’s time to streamline my workspace and shift my focus. As part of this new chapter, I will no longer be taking on custom t-shirt printing or general t-shirt orders.
This will allow me the time I need to focus on brand-new laser-crafted items, promote and teach yarn-based crafts like knitting and crochet and spend time restocking and updating the most popular items we print in house. Making this shift means more time to pour love and creativity into these beautiful new lines and handmade pieces.

🛠️ STUDIO EQUIPMENT CLEAROUT 🛠️
Because of this change in direction, I am selling off my t-shirt printing equipment and remaining blank stock. If you or someone you know is looking to start a hobby or a small business, I have the following available:
• A swing arm heat press
• A Cricut Express Press
• A large stock of t shirts - children and adult sizes.

🧶 Poll Time: What Should We Learn Next? 🧶

We’ve had so many requests for workshops lately, and we’d love to bring some crafty learning to Made in Kintyre!
We are thinking of hosting small, cozy evening sessions right here in the shop. These would be 2.5-hour "one-off" classes designed to get you started on your crafting journey—perfect for absolute beginners or those looking to refresh their skills.

✨ The Details:
• Where: In the shop (Made in Kintyre)
• Duration: 2.5 hours (Evening)
• Intimate Learning: Maximum of 6 people per session for plenty of 1-on-1 help.
• Cost: £35 per person — this includes the full 2.5-hour session and your starter kit.
• The Starter Kit: You’ll receive a cotton tote bag containing absolutely everything you need for the class. It’s yours to keep for your class work and all your future projects!

It’s been a busy and exciting fortnight here at Made in Kintyre! We've loved welcoming familiar faces and meeting travelers from all over the world. There’s a special kind of magic in knowing that items made right here in Kintyre are now traveling to homes as far away as Ireland, Iceland, and America. It is such an honor to represent the 50+ local artists, knitters, and crocheters who allow us to share their talent with the world.
So, if you haven’t visited the shop yet, please come and say hello! There is so much to see in store right now and we have gifts for any occasion.
