We are pleased to announce that DV architects have achieved the second and final planning permission for the Moon Under Water Public House in Boston, Lincolnshire. We are currently at tender stage for our project to start on site in June ready for magnificent summer nights enjoying the river Witham view in the heart of Boston conservation area.
The project began in 2015 with a brief to create a ground floor extension and roof garden which we creatively designed to reflect and enhance the historical significance of the building and its location. Our design was welcomed and supported by Boston Local planning authority, and we received full planning permission in 2019.
Since then the brief has grown to include a ground, first and second floor extension with a roof garden, and DV Architects responded to this brief drawing inspiration from the River Witham to create a bold statement design that contrasts traditional and modern architecture. This was also welcomed and supported by Boston Local planning authority and granted full planning permission in 2022.
At DV Architects we pride ourselves in offering 1st class service and have completed a vast number of heritage projects successfully from design, through the planning and listed building consent process, tendering and project management to completion.
We would like to thank N47 for the planning consultancy service and obtaining the second planning permission, Cotswold Archaeology for the heritage impact assessment of our proposal, and Holman Neville Limited for creating the fantastic visuals that have reflected our design and vision perfectly.
