We are extremely happy and excited to have received planning permission for our client. We have been doing a lot of research to compose a new Roman Principia for our client in Flintshire, Wales.

The building in constructed of oak frame and will be infilled with wattle and daub.

The foundations of the old fort were excavated in some archaeological digs, we have read through these findings, made a plan of this, and with many books on early Roman forts, have put together this exciting Roman head quarters.

We look forward to seeing it built in 2024.

Very cute paws we found in some historic brick work at our current projects. Shame about the 1970s cement pointing but a lovely little character in the historic building work.

We like to do as many building visits as possible to extend our understanding of the built environment.

A few years ago we entered a competition for a . The cabin was in and for a for the owners who were very interested in and their significance to New Zealand.

So our fourth and final page sees a detailed section with an experiencial perspective of what the space would look like and feel like to be in it. Additionally we show a detail of the copper over time to show consideration of the longevity of materials and also showing a deep understanding that once they patina it will go green and fit in with the beautiful green forestry!

A few years ago we entered a competition for a . The cabin was in and for a for the owners who were very interested in and their significance to New Zealand.

So our third page shows the sustainability goals and design intension to the site. Our key sustainability ideas are to first look into the site and/to adapt the site. Identifying the transport of natural, local materials is important to us and also the improvement of natural cooling as our earth gets warmer. Ponds, rivers and the buildings orientation can significantly help combat over heating.
