It was so good to be at my first market of the year yesterday. I know we're 6 months in to 2022 but between one thing and another, it's been the first opportunity 😂 I'm looking forward to making up for it in the second half of the year!

Even though I've been quiet on social media, I've been beavering away with online orders and local retail so don't worry, I'm still here for all your gift giving needs. It's been a great (and busy 🥴) week at Lil Waxidents HQ! I've been prepping for Christmas Markets as well as keeping up with all your Etsy orders...thanks for those by the way! And next week is ramping up again as I get ready for Christmas Markets every weekend until the big day!

And that's where this update comes in...personalised name crayons will only be available for guaranteed Christmas delivery until TUESDAY 30TH NOVEMBER 🗓 They will still be available to order via Etsy after this date...but I won't be able to guarantee you'll get them before the big guy arrives.

All other sets currently have good stock levels so I'm anticipating full steam ahead until around 10th/12th December 🖍👌

Any Pirate obsessed children out there? I think most kids go through the Pirate phase at some point...for my two it was fleeting and stemmed mostly from watching too much Swashbuckle on CBeebies 😬 If your little one likes to dedicate their weekends to eye patch wearing and feeding Polly 🦜 pieces of eight, well this might just be the Christmas gift for them!

One of the most exciting parts of the build up to Christmas as a child, was writing my list to Santa. The list writing would normally start around mid November. Revised versions would be submitted to the parents right up until December 24th-ish 😂 (The laminated book of dreams had a lot to answer for).

Anyway, I digress.... this chunky little set was inspired by my list writing obsession and the excitement of putting words on paper that meant I may get what I wished for 💫
°
°
Each set comes beautifully boxed and ribboned so no need to wrap. 4 large stamps, Santa's favourite Reindeer and 2 santa heads make up the crayons and a mini colouring card with space to write a list in English or Welsh tucked neatly inside.

Sometimes I forget that this all started by accident. An activity to keep the kids entertained turned into something that's keeping me busy every day, and I couldnt be more grateful that I'm able to do it from my home around the girls.
°
°
My first craft fair saw me make more stock than I EVER thought I would need. I made so much that I actually felt a bit daft and had visions of my dining room looking like a storage facility well into next year. Little did I know, I'd be coming home each evening trying to make another handful of sets here and there to keep up with the demand. So this post is a little pause and reflect on how it started, and where it's got to...in less than 9 months. Happy days 🎉🎊

Christmas in my house usually has colour coded gift wrap and contrasting ribbons (much to The Beards dismay)...so I've naturally applied my love of "making things pretty" to Lil Waxidents. I always wanted Waxidents to be gift ready, but popping them in a box was never enough.
°
°
Each box of crayons gets a perfectly sized bit of tissue paper in the signature turquoise blue. It stops the crayons rattling around too much in transit and in my eyes, looks nicer than the foam inlay that comes with the box 📦 Next comes the label. If it's a name, they get individually made by me from vinyl 🥰 Then there's the sticker. This is my first Christmas trading with Lil Waxidents and I'm sure it'll be a very steep learning curve....but at least while I'm learning, you can have my bilingual Christmas bauble stickers adorning your pressie for the little people.
