7 years of Snowy Blossom Florist. 🌸
I can’t quite believe it’s been 7 years.
Looking back, so much has happened — from bringing my little flower business from Hong Kong to the UK, to finding my place in a completely new market, with no connections or network to rely on. I simply started again and kept going, one step at a time.
One of the things that still makes me happiest is receiving an order from a returning customer. Sometimes I’ll look back at their previous orders and notice they’ve chosen similar colours again, just in a different design. It’s such a lovely feeling knowing that they remembered my work. 🤍
Funny enough, I never thought I would become a florist.
Art was never my strong subject at school — I was much better at sports! ☺️
After working in accounting for many years, I started feeling that life couldn’t just be about work. I wanted to learn something new.
I once wanted to learn how to bake, but my family actually banned me from doing it. They told me that since I already had a stable job, I should just focus on it.
But I always felt that life shouldn’t be limited to one job or one skill.
So I learned bridal makeup, and eventually floristry. I never imagined that something I started as an interest would eventually become something I could continue doing after moving to the UK.
Seven years later, I’ve gone from running my flower business part-time to running it full-time. I’ve created more, experimented with more colours and techniques, and although my journey has been slower than I imagined, I’m still moving forward. 🤍
Thank you to everyone who has supported Snowy Blossom Florist along the way.
I hope I can continue bringing a little happiness to your lives through flowers. 🌸
Please keep following my journey, and if you’re interested in a floral collaboration, I’d love to hear from you. 🤍
