🏡 Stunning Engineered Herringbone Wood Flooring in Llantwit Fardre! 🔨

Another beautiful installation completed by Floor Fitter Wales!

This recent project involved fitting Engineered Herringbone Wood Flooring, with a gorgeous brushed and lacquered finish, throughout the lounge, dining room and hallway.

📐 It’s all about the setting out!

For this installation, we used the hallway as our centre line, carefully setting out the herringbone pattern before running the flooring seamlessly throughout all three areas.

This ensured the pattern flowed beautifully from room to room, creating a consistent, professional finish without unnecessary breaks.

✅ Engineered real wood flooring
✅ Brushed & lacquered finish
✅ Traditional herringbone pattern
✅ Hallway used as the central setting-out line
✅ Seamless installation through three areas

The natural oak tones and beautiful wood grain really bring warmth and character to this home. 👌

Making it look like the wall was never there 👌

We previously installed this Quick-Step laminate through the customer’s lounge and hallway.

Since then, they’ve removed the wall between the hallway and kitchen to create a more open-plan space — so we were called back to continue the existing flooring seamlessly into the kitchen.

Rather than adding a door bar or obvious join, we’ve tied back into the original floor and carried the same boards straight through.

The end result looks like the flooring was installed this way from day one 🙌
