Google's new £1bn UK headquarters at King's Cross London is a 330-metre groundscraper and will become Google's largest office outside the United States.

Swanmac is instructed to supply and install a full curtain package across the ten-storey development, to be delivered throughout Q3 and Q4.

Channel View in Grangetown, Cardiff is undergoing a significant regeneration, replacing existing housing stock with up to 400 new energy-efficient homes. Block B, forming part of the first phase, will deliver 24 independent living apartments for older persons residents.

We have been appointed to supply and install circa 250 perfect fit blinds throughout Block B, with installation taking place this summer.

Pilgrim's Quarter in Newcastle is the new regional headquarters for HMRC and one of the most significant commercial developments in the North East in recent years. The 463,000 sq ft building will accommodate approximately 9,000 staff, making it the department's largest regional hub in the UK.

Swanmac has been appointed to supply and install 2,500 sunscreen roller blinds across the building, with installation programmed from September to December 2026.

We're pleased to be working on 115 Wallis Road, Hackney Wick — a 337-unit co-living development positioned along the banks of the River Lea in east London.

Our scope covers the supply and installation of roller blinds across all 337 studios and we're working closely the site team to ensure a smooth, phased delivery.

The Blue Dragon Student Accommodation building in Cardiff is a part of a wider Cardiff Sixth Form College currently under development. The accommodation building itself will include two towers of 10 and 18 storeys,, delivering 458 student bed spaces and 17 house-parent apartments.

Swanmac has been appointed to supply and install curtains and roller blinds to all external windows throughout the building.

We’re proud to have played a small part in something with a real human impact.

As part of our ongoing commitment to social value, we recently donated blinds and curtains free of charge to support a refurbishment project led by Wates Smartspace — alongside other partners across the supply chain.

The finished space creates a calm, welcoming environment where eligible women in custody can spend meaningful time with their children. That matters.

It's a brilliant example of what's possible when businesses work together with a shared purpose — not just delivering a build, but making a genuine difference in people's lives. Alongside the physical works, young people gained hands-on construction experience and recognised qualifications through VIY and City & Guilds.

A small contribution from us, but part of something much bigger.

Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project to life.

Swanmac was thrilled to deliver the blinds installation for Oxford North, a cutting-edge innovation district in the county.

With a strategy aimed at fostering the next generation of breakthrough discoveries in science and technology, Oxford North is designed to be a hub for inventors, investors, and the wider community.

The development spans a million square feet of labs and workspaces, alongside 480 homes and three public parks. Our team was actively involved in the design process with Fletcher Priest Architects for over two years, ensuring that our blinds package complements the architectural vision.

These include:

·1000 custom Swanmac roller blinds all installed into a custom recess or RAL cassette boxes
·Over 150 bottom-up shaped blinds in custom RAL colour to all gable glazing.
·Over 70 fully-enclosed rooflight blinds in custom RAL colour to all rooflight windows.

We were excited to contribute to this landmark project, supporting the creation of a space where innovation, collaboration, and discovery thrive!
