The kind of study that makes it easy to switch between emails, paperwork, and the next chapter of a book. Open shelving keeps favourites close at hand, while concealed storage keeps stationery and files tucked away. A full-length stave, a solid oak countertop, and oak-effect cabinet interiors bring the practical details together with a finish suited to a listed building.

A cabinet bookcase that earns its place throughout the day. There's shelving for favourite things, a retractable desk for work when it's needed, and an oak-lined space for logs tucked neatly to the side. With remote-controlled, dimmable lighting bringing the display to life, it's the kind of joinery that quietly adapts to whatever the day calls for.

Loft spaces can easily become home to the things that don’t have a regular place. Designed around the angles of the room, this wardrobe keeps daily clothing within easy reach, while a large bifold door opens to reveal deeper storage for suitcases and seasonal clothes. Finished in ‘Bush Life’, it makes the most of the space while keeping the everyday essentials more organised.

A little workshop BTS: measure, cut, check, adjust, and repeat until every detail is right and the joinery is ready to leave the bench for the next stage.

Bulky jackets have a habit of taking over wardrobes, especially when the seasons change. This design creates extra space for them while keeping the room feeling light and open. Chrome finger pulls keep the look clean, while a library-style ladder in Radiata pine redwood moves along a chrome-plated solid brass rail, making the upper cabinets easy to reach and genuinely useful throughout the day.

The most useful joinery quietly solves a problem while still feeling like it belongs in the room. This modern cabinet takes its cue from Japanese design, with low, wide oak veneer door panels and Japanese-style pulls, and a ‘Buckingham’ finish colour-matched to the living room cornice. It conceals the electricity meter while keeping it easy to reach, while oak shelves add space for books, collectibles, and the things the family wants to keep close at hand.

One room might need storage that makes getting ready easier, while another needs somewhere to display books. In the wardrobe area, generous drawers, visible shoe storage, and integrated lighting controlled by a hidden proximity switch keep everything easy to find. Solid oak drawer fronts and a thick glass countertop add warmth, bringing a softer feel to the storage.

In the drawing room, three-door wide alcove cabinets, strong floating shelves, and a traditional timber fireplace bring new character to the space, finished in 'Brilliant White' to complement the existing setting. Two very different rooms, with joinery designed around exactly how they are used.

The small details that make the daily moments feel easier: the drawer opening right when it's needed, the shelf holding the things reached for most, and the room staying calmer after a busy morning. Designed for the shoes, the keys, the books, the quick tidy-ups, and all the little routines that make life easier.

The fireplace becomes the natural place to pause, with these cabinet bookcases giving the room somewhere to keep books close by. Victorian-style door panel moulding echoes the existing wall panelling, while Farrow & Ball's 'Hague Blue' carries the deeper tone through the room. Inside, walnut veneer-effect interiors provide space for books and daily favourites, making it easy to unwind by the fire with something to read or simply enjoy a slower afternoon at home.
