A fantastic job completed today by our engineer Jamie in Tonypandy 👏

What began as a boiler replacement quickly turned into a much bigger task. The property had a very complex heating system with multiple heating zones, underfloor heating zones, hot water zones and cylinder thermostats – unfortunately much of it had been installed incorrectly, which meant parts of the home weren’t working as they should.

Jamie took the time to properly investigate the system, carefully tracing each zone to work out exactly where the issues were. To make sense of it all, he even sketched his own diagram to map the system out and identify what needed to be corrected.

Thanks to his patience, knowledge and problem-solving, the entire system has now been set up correctly and is working exactly as it should. Most importantly, the customer is absolutely over the moon with the result.

🔧🔥 As National Apprenticeship Week 2026 comes to a close… 🔥🔧

This week we’ve been celebrating our apprentices – Alfie, Jac, Scott and Josh 👏

The lads have been busy working alongside our engineers on:
🛁 Bathroom installations
🔥 Boiler replacements
🔧 Boiler servicing & maintenance
☀️ Solar PV installations
🔥 Fireplace installations

They’re learning the trade properly, on site, hands-on, gaining real experience in real homes.

In a world that’s becoming more reliant on AI and technology, there are still things it simply can’t do. AI might write content and analyse data… but it can’t change your tap, install your new boiler, or diagnose a heating fault in your home.

That’s why apprenticeships matter. Skilled trades are essential, and investing in the next generation is something we truly believe in.

We’re proud to support apprenticeships and even prouder of these young men and the work ethic they show every day.

It won’t be long before they’re in their own vans, turning up at your door to repair, maintain and fix the systems that keep your home running smoothly 🚐 💪
