Today I stepped out of my comfort zone and decided to try a scrapbook layout. I haven’t done one for years so it was a challenge! I’m part of a group on Facebook and they issue challenges each month this month was a simple layout, there were a few guidelines and I sketch to start you off. I chose a couple of photos from my Mew England trip from 18months ago and then chose papers from my stash that complimented the colours in the photos. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Hi, I’m so excited, don’t know if you’ve heard but Paper Pumpkin subscriptions are now available in the UK. Paper Pumpkin is a subscription service which gives you everything you need to make beautiful projects, like their kit offerings but completely separate. Each month you receive a new box, some of which coordinate with current SU products but you don’t need them if you don’t want to. Each box contains everything you need to make the projects for that month. The first box you purchase will include a stamping block but after that you will need to use the one you’ve received. You will receive a stamping block spot with ink that coordinates with the project and a stamp set, embellishments and adhesive. All you might need is a pair of scissors! Each month you have until the 10th of the month to order your box and can order your next from the 11th of the month for your next one. I’ve just ordered mine and you have till the 10th April to get yours! Each quarter you also get the chance to order coordinating items and refills and previous boxes if they’re still available but they tend to sell out quickly so don’t hesitate to get them if you want them.
