If your circumstances change, or circumstances outside of my control, such as covid, your place will be held indefinitely and you will be given numerous alternative dates to attend when it is safe to do so.

When you are small you dream of your job, your car or home when you grown up. I dreamt of a cottage and life like Beatrix Potter. I wanted ducks. I loved flowers, mostly wild flowers and I collected objects from nature. My favourite place was outside on the beach or in our garden. Your home should be full of things you love, that bring you joy. I am slowly creating the home that little Ali dreamed of. On a budget. Slowly. Gathering. Remembering and bringing into fruition what she wanted as an adult. It wasn’t much…and I can’t tell you how much joy and peace it is bringing me putting these little spaces together for her and me.

I’m selling at Burford in the Cotswolds for my last event of the year and have made a rag wreath that very much takes inspiration from the countryside, the pheasants and partridges which often cross my path here.

It is a very large 20” hoop with a mix of tweeds and checked fabrics perfect for the countryman and woman.
