The hedgerows in Cumbria are alive with the yellow glow of gorse flowers at the moment, cute to see this little fella having a rest. I was very brave with the spikes, and picked some of the petals for some shortbread biscuits. Ooooh the smell of coconut from these little gems..... 😍 😋 ✨️

I just love crunchy Autumn leaf walks with the last of the wild flowers giving their goodbyes for the year. I always forget that at this time of year, the hedges and walls are laden with Ivy flowers and thay they buzz and hum with hundreds of flying insects. 🐝
